trick or treat!

So, this was Emma's 1st halloween. She doesn't get the concept of going trick or treating but she loved being outside with all the kids. Plus, Jackie and I got lots of candy because they all thought Emma was so cute. Also, she is a cat...everyone thinks she's a sheep, but it's a cat.

September 2008

This is a clip of Emma getting mad at me and she keeps trying to bite my leg, unsuccessfully. Then, she just keeps getting more and more mad. It's pretty silly.

3 months old!!!!

Emma's 3 months old and is as active as ever. She's had her first trip to the zoo and in another month or two and she will probably be crawling. She also LOVES the color yellow. All we have to do to calm her down is put her in front of spongebob or the simpsons. She's definately got blue eyes now. She also has figured out how to get exactly what she wants. Luckily for us she still sleeps through the night though. She's a handful but we love her.

2 months old (part 2)

This is clip of emma here at home. It was a little frustrating though because she would laugh right up until we would start recording her and then she just decided that nothing was funny anymore. Anyways, here it is...

2 months old (part 1)

We've moved to greeley, co. So far so good and Emma is growing everyday. She is getting more alert and more coherent all the time. She also is a very gassy baby. Everywhere we go people keep telling us that she is the cutest baby that they've ever seen. She still sleeps through most of the night and loves to ride in the car. We lucked out in having such an easy going baby. She also definately recognizes Jackie. When she's hungry and Jackie's in the room, she will yell and look right at Jackie until Jackie takes her.

1 month old tomorrow!!!

We can't believe it, but time has flown by. Emma is 1 month old tomorrow and she is bigger and LOUDER every day.

Here are some new pics of emma. We went shopping for the first time and she is growing fast and gaining weight too. She likes to stay up until about 2 am and then sleep in until around 9am.

2 weeks old

Emma just had her first doctor's appointment. She is now 7 lbs. 10 oz (the doctor says its normal to lose weight the first week and then gain it back by the second week so he said she looks good). She is also 21.25 inches long which puts her in the 90th percentile for length. She is still looking good and she is actually sleeping a lot through the night (with an occasional bad night). In fact, we actually have to wake her up just to feed her. Our family is doing great and adjusting well to our new addition.

Emma Loveland's Birth

Emma was born at 7:49 am on April 23rd, 2008. She was 7 lbs. 11 oz and 18.5 inches long. She was born healthy and perfect!
